Can we really stop the Pebble Mine?  If so, how?

If students, other youth, adults, and elders got together all as one, and gave a big stong message to Northern Dynasty that we dont want them here, that it will send them packing home. A very unique idea involving a riot or heavy protesting.

Have you guys sent copies of your essays to president Obama? You may be able to make an impact if you sent letters and artwork to him that lets him know why you need salmon and clean water. I think that this will end up having to become a national issue before the land in Bristol Bay is protected in the long term.

i think first and foremost, get a petition going (through this site) that registered voters from around the world can sign against the mining. utilize the internet and its capacity to get the word out! once state reps/companies/etc see what massive support you have they will have to take notice. you really do have a worthy cause here. those companies just like to make you feel like you are alone on this. they isolate you, target you and your loved ones, put thousands in campaigns. your only line of defense is with the people. get em rallied. via internet. it works. i would love to sign something. i would love to write your senators, representatives, companies that are pushing this. if you had the info posted here on those who are voting for this (which is a matter of public record). you could even go so far as letting us sign the main page letter you have. (trying to think of easiest way for others to get involved). thank you for your protest. i hope you know that you are supported and there are those who are willing to fight this with you...
