You have a price per pound for fish.  For us, it's priceless.  - Sheldon Nelson, addressing CEO Shively of Pebble Partnership and Panel Discussion

The Way to Go!
If ever man and animal can be one, then together we,
If ever man will forever on love his culture, and his tradition
If the land was ever happy with respect in man
comparing us will, together happen with man.
Greedy with wealth, and letting go of his heritage
I praise love, care, respect, and wisdom in Elders,
I praise land, animal, culture, and tradition more than any gold mine.
For then we will live in harmony, with respect, to one another
Then we will live in harmony with our land,
love in culture and tradition

My Cycle of life: Flying Up Stream

It's that time again, the fish are coming back
to lay their eggs, and for us to catch.
The tiny red sacks with a black dot for an eye,
it's turning into a little fry.
Only an inch long and headed to sea,
some stay a year and possibly three.
Out in the ocean swimming together,
flying through water their fins like feathers.
Coming back home fighting up the stream,
we both are living the dream.
I watch my uppa bring the slippery salmon to the beach,
where we cut them up and prepare for our feast.
Dry them, smoke them, bake them,
smells so good makes you want to taste them.
We all rely on an environment thats clean,
seeing it healthy is what makes us beam.

Keep it Clean

Keep it Clean Keep it Fresh!
If they could speak in our tongue, they would ask,
to keep our playgrounds clean,
man has advantage,
man has control on earth,
in the wild and free hearts,
our resources should be untamed
the way it always was,
clean and fresh, our fish swim,
clean and fresh, our birds migrate,
clean and fresh, our moose live here,
they feed us in subsistence,
they give us wealth in commercial,
the trees, and other plants,
give is clean oxygen,
Keep It Fresh, Keep it Clean,
Say No! To Dirty Gold!
